Meet Ryan Parker
Founder, HYNTRLAND Industries Ltd.
"I don’t just build structures. I build the feeling of being there."
If you asked my father, he’d tell you about the summer I spent trying to install a chainsaw engine onto the back of a bicycle. I had the throttle figured out, the chain hooked up, and a vision of freedom. It didn’t work perfectly, but it taught me something that has defined my entire life: I am happiest when I am building something from nothing.
For as long as I can remember, I have been obsessed with "The Build." But my path to HYNTRLAND wasn't a straight line.
The Foundation & The Exploration
Fresh out of high school, I entered the plumbing trade. For eight years, I learned the discipline of the trades. How systems work, how to work with my hands, and the grit required to get the job done here in Alberta.
But I’ve always been an explorer at heart. I eventually left the trade to push my boundaries. I dabbled in real estate, ran a tow truck and fixed up countless houses and vehicles.
My creative peak during this time was with Advanced Ag, where I served as a one man R&D department. I designed and built "The BrewTus®" an industrial bioreactor. I didn't just draw it; I engineered the software logic, wired the electrical and fabricated it from the ground up. To this day, millions of gallons of product have been brewed through machines I built from scratch.
The Return & The Realization
Eventually, I returned to the plumbing industry, partnering to run a company for three and a half years. We were successful, and the work was steady. But despite the success, I felt a specific kind of burnout.
I had the skills of a tradesman and the mind of an inventor, but I was stuck doing standard renovations. I realized that for me, a life without creativity wasn't really living.
One Sunday, sitting with my kids, watching an AI-generated image of a rustic porch overlooking a rainy mountain lake. It was peaceful. It was immersive. I turned to my kids and said, "We are going to retire in a place like that one day."
And then it hit me. Why wait?
I realized that thousands of people whether they are standing in a sterile trade show booth or sitting in an RV park are craving that exact same feeling.
Why HYNTRLAND?
I founded HYNTRLAND Industries to combine my 20 years of trades and work experience with that relentless creative drive.
We bridge the gap between "standard construction" and "immersive experience." Whether it is turning a 10' x 10' trade show booth into a rustic fishing lodge, facing an RV lot with a cabin facade, or building a custom structure for your property.
My goal isn't to build things you can't build, it's to build the things you dream of, but haven't found the time or the path to execute.
We are a one-stop shop. We handle the wood, the metal, the logistics, and the details. You bring the vision; I bring the focus and the tools to make it real.
